a rationale

I guess I should explain why I decided to name my blog "living jerusalem".

Well...for the most obvious reason, I chose this name because it's the title of a course I'm taking at Hebrew University. Original, eh??? (Yes, I'm Canadian and that's what we say at the end of sentence!)

But beyond this simple justification, I do feel that even if I am not residing in Jerusalem all the time, I live Jerusalem every day. I live its culture, its heritage, its conflict, its holiness, its essence.
